Babysitter's Training with Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED-BL r.25Youth DevelopmentThe American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training with Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED-BL course prepares youth ages 11-16 to care for children and infants safely and confidently. It includes hands-on activities, videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children safety and emergency response. The First Aid/CPR/AED Blended Learning course includes an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-person training and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours to complete the online portion. We want to prepare participants well for emergencies but CPR can be physically demanding and participants should ideally weigh at least 85-90 pounds to participate in this portion of the course. Upon successful completion of both the online and in person portions of the course a valid 10-year Babysitter's Training digital certification and a valid 2-year digital certificate for Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued. Look through the idea book, browse the patterns and stencils, and choose from dozens of colors of precut glass. The first night is dedicated to working on your project, having fun, and discovering your creative side. There is the possibility of homework. During the second night, you will grout and learn about glass cutting, mosaic resources and other types of mosaics. There will be a supply fee based upon what you choose to decorate.
