NewIndoor Walk ProgramRecreation / AdultSept 8, 2026 - June 3, 2027 HHS upper level indoor trackM-F: 6:00-7:00 AM and 3:00-10:00 PM*Sat: 8 AM - 3 PM* June 7, 2027 - July 29, 2027 HHS upper level indoor trackM-Th: 8 AM - 2 PM* $30 per person per school year $15 for Senior Center Members and Adult with Disabilities Program Participants Enter through the upper doors of the high school and enjoy a walk in a temperature controlled environment. Walk passes can be purchased online but participants must pick up a pass and have their driver’s license scanned for a raptor badge at Tilden Community Center. Passes are not issued at the high school. Dates are subject to change. Walking during the school day is not permitted because we do not have staff to supervise the area and high school students are using the track during the school day. Please do not enter the building before 3pm on school days to allow the students to clear the building and to avoid congestion.To receive your WALK PASS* and Raptor Scan Badge you will need to bring your license or photo I.D. to the Tilden Community Center - 310 River St, Hastings prior to your first walk. *A walk program information letter that will include building closed dates and all other necessary information can be picked up at Tilden Community Center or a link will be in your email confirmation.2026-2027 Walk Program RulesFall 2026 -
Learn to Play Pickleball with Steve (Intermediate 3 sessions)Recreation / AdultTake your pickleball game to the next level. Improve shot selection, decision making and strategy. Individual work on your shot making skills at the base line, kitchen area and serving. We will use the new Erne Ball machine by adding variety and repetition to the drills. Attendees must have playing experience, know the rules and be an advanced beginner or above skill level. With our intermediate course you will be on your way to dominating the courts! Learn to Play Pickleball with Sue! (Beginner 4 sessions)Recreation / AdultGet your friends together and learn to play pickleball! This class is a great way for brand new players to learn the sport of Pickleball. Players receive both instruction and playing time. Players will learn all the rules and basics to be able to play. We will cover equipment, lingo, score keeping, court position, and the fundamentals of serve, return, and the volley. Bring your own pickleball paddle if you have one, if not, one can be provided. Individuals tend to have a hard time accessing their unconscious stress. Most people navigate life by thinking consciously with their head, not their unconscious body - or heart & soul.
