We teach the fundamentals of passing, catching, rushing, and defense, ensuring players are challenged at their appropriate skill level. Our coaches lead with Respect, Hustle, and Pride, culminating in a final-day scrimmage. What to bring: Water bottle (cleats and mouthguards optional). Appetizers - Quick, Easy and EnticingAdult EnrichmentWe’ll create over 20 appetizers that require less than 20 minutes, from start to finish! You can serve these appetizers as a first course or as a snack for family and friends, you could even create a complete buffet! Our selections will include recipes for spreads, hearty appetizers, dips, dippers, nibbles, hot appetizers and more! Enjoy the selections during the class or take your samples home. You’ll also learn special tips to create an appetizer party! Be prepared the day of class to pay an additional food fee of $16 directly to the instructor. Art Explorers (Grades 1-5)Youth EnrichmentKick off the school year with a creative adventure in drawing! In this session, students explore a variety of engaging subjects while learning important artistic techniques such as proportion, texture, shading, and pattern. Young artists will enjoy creating a delicious Pizza drawing while practicing detail and composition. An adorable Baby Sloth introduces character design and expressive faces, while our portrait of Hiawatha offers an opportunity to explore art history and cultural storytelling through drawing. Baby Massage ClassECFE ClassesJoin Mary for a gentle, hand-on class for parents/caregivers and babies. Learn baby-led massage strokes, how to read cues, and simple routines you can use at home. Open to babies 3 weeks old to cruising. Benefits of Baby Massage: Interaction Stimulation Relief Relaxation Mary is certified by the International Association of Infant Massage. Babysitter’s TrainingYouth DevelopmentThis in-person course prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children safety and emergency response. Participants receive a 10-year Babysitter's Training certificate upon completion. Barn Quilt WorkshopAdult EnrichmentPainting barn quilts is a popular, lively and rewarding 4 hour class of guided instruction which will take you through the process of barn quilt painting from beginning to completion. You will learn how to create a barn quilt that looks professional. You will leave with your own masterpiece, ready for hanging and unequivocal admiration. ;) An additional $70.00 supplies fee is due at the beginning of class to Cynthia. This includes all of the materials needed to complete a barn quilt. Materials included for class: 2' x 2' Aluminum Composite. This is a premium grade material that professional sign makers use. It will never rust or rot. It is lightweight and easy to hang but very sturdy and great to work on. 60 plus fabulous paint colors to choose from. I use the highest quality Behr 3M tape, rulers, pencils, aprons, hair dryers and yardsticks. Many quilt block patterns to choose from that have been previously drawn out to scale.
