Get ready for high-energy creativity as students dive into the bold, expressive world of anime! Artists design original characters with dramatic eyes, dynamic hair, powerful poses, and over-the-top style. This fast-paced camp blends classic anime techniques with imaginative twists—mixing heroes, villains, fantasy, and fun. Students explore emotion, movement, and storytelling while creating striking, poster-worthy artwork packed with personality. Ideal for anime fans and imaginative storytellers alike!

Students create artwork inspired by modern gaming aesthetics — pixel characters, stylized creatures, playful monsters, and dynamic color blocking. Please pack a nut-free snack and drink for your child.

Young artists will fall in love with drawing the world’s sweetest baby animals—from fluffy puppies and playful kittens to woodland animals. Students learn how to use simple shapes, expressive eyes, and soft details to bring each adorable creature to life. Along the way, they build confidence in proportion, texture, and personality while creating a collection of heart-melting sketches. Perfect for animal lovers and gentle creatives who adore all things cute!

This course is best suited for 10 to 13-year-olds interested in learning the current practices of caring for young children and how to manage their babysitting business. Students will learn safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants and how to handle behavior problems. Students receive a reference book, handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. Bring snacks, lunch, a drink, a pencil, and colored pencils or markers.

DASH Sports Summer Baseball/T-Ball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day. Athletes should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, snack, and a baseball glove (spikes and bats are optional). Baseballs and bats are provided.

Online learning classes are taught by Safeway instructors. The State requires that students have a camera and microphone and be actively engaged with the instructor during each 3-hour class. If a student misses a lesson, they can make up that exact lesson by registering for a make-up lesson on their Safeway account.. The permit test is not provided during the class. Safeway would email the Zoom information and account verification email before the class begins.

This camp will energize and excite students by combining the LEGO building system’s versatility and the Mindstorms EV3 microcomputer brick. Working in teams, students will construct fun LEGO models, experiment with programs, and compete in robotic challenges. Robot building, block programming, and teamwork will be part of each day’s activities. The final challenge will be a sumo battle.

First Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for 7-10 yearolds. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger and internet safety. Students will receive a book, handouts and a home first aid kit as part of the class. Bring snacks, a drink, a pencil, and colored pencils or markers.

Join the MN DNR’s Fishing in the Neighborhood (FiN) program for a fun, family-friendly evening of fishing! Designed for ages 5 and up, each youth must be accompanied by an adult. No experience or equipment is needed—we’ve got you covered! Rain or shine, come dressed for the weather and enjoy a great outdoor adventure close to home. Only register the participating youth. There will be a question to list the accompanying adult. Funding for this project was provided by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR).

In our fun and positive environment, participants not only gain confidence but also absorb valuable life lessons. The week ends with the Skyhawks Super Bowl, giving you a chance to showcase your skills on the gridiron. Get ready for a thrilling journey into the world of flag football!

DASH Sports flag football Tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of football in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group. Plan to meet on the field in the back of the school. If there is inclement weather, football will be moved into the gym.

Let's go for a boat ride! Meet at the dock in Prescott to board the pontoon. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early. Join your friends for a fun time on the river. The outing is free, but you must register with Community Education. Staff/caregiver must also register as there is limited room on the boat. We are sharing this boat ride with our friends at Lifeworks. Life jackets are provided. Be sure to wear sunscreen.
