We begin with a 45- minute Gentle Yoga Flow with breath work to release stress & restore balance to promote overall well-being. After our yoga practice will be a 45- minute Guided Meditation and Sound Bath with crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, ocean drum, & various chimes. Let go of the stress and embrace tranquility in a peaceful setting, nurturing your Mind, Body, and Spirit. Through a guided grief bowl meditation, we’ll hold our sorrow with compassion - no need to fix or change it. Together, we’ll shift through silence, gentle movement, breath work, and quiet sharing in community. Open to anyone navigating loss, recent or long held. Indoor Walk ProgramRecreation / AdultSept 8, 2025 - June 5, 2026 HHS upper level indoor track M-F: 6:00-7:00 AM and 3:00-10:00 PM*Sat: 8 AM - 3PM* $25 per person per school year $10 for Senior Center Members and Adult with Disabilities Program Participants Enter through the upper doors of the high school and enjoy a walk in a temperature controlled environment. Walk passes can be purchased online but participants must pick up a pass and have their driver’s license scanned for a raptor badge at Tilden Community Center. Passes are not issued at the high school. Dates are subject to change. Walking during the school day is not permitted because we do not have staff to supervise the area and high school students are using the track during the school day. Please do not enter the building before 3pm on school days to allow the students to clear the building and to avoid congestion. *A walk program information letter that will include building closed dates and all other necessary information can be picked up at Tilden Community Center or a link will be in your email confirmation.Winter/Spring 26 -
Intermediate Pickleball (3.25-3.75 player skill level)Recreation / AdultGet your friends together and play pickleball! This time frame is open to players at the 3.25-3.75 and above player skill level. This will be open play so people will rotate in. Registration for each Saturday time slot will open Mondays at noon online. Bring your own paddle! Refunds will not be given if your schedule changes.Winter/Spring 26 -
Learn to Play Pickleball with Sue! (Beginner 4 sessions)Recreation / AdultGet your friends together and learn to play pickleball! This class is a great way for brand new players to learn the sport of Pickleball. Players receive both instruction and playing time. Players will learn all the rules and basics to be able to play. We will cover equipment, lingo, score keeping, court position, and the fundamentals of serve, return, and the volley. Bring your own pickleball paddle if you have one, if not, one can be provided. Softening: Nervous System Awareness and Tuning WorkshopRecreation / AdultA trauma-conscious workshop exploring the natural nervous system responses - Fight, Flight, Freeze, and Fawn - through movement, breath, and mindful awareness. With soothing Yin Yoga and a Tibetan Singing Bowl sound bath, this practice supports grounding, self-compassion, and ease. Tai Chi & Qigong Meditation RetreatRecreation / AdultThis retreat is dedicated to helping you pause your busy life, and return to selfcare. Learn to establish healthier rhythms, through breath and the gentle meditative movements of Tai Chi Chih and Qigong. These practices are easy to learn and will activate the flow of chi/energy to help restore the body-mind and spirit. There will be a combination of standing or seated meditations so wear comfortable clothing. You may practice with or without shoes, and the use of chairs will be provided.
