We'll provide the dyes, and all you need to do is bring your shirt, bandana, scrunchie, socks, etc that you want to tie-dye. Whether you're a tie-dye pro or a first-timer, our easy-to-follow setup will ensure everyone walks away with a masterpiece they'll be proud to wear. Once you are done with tie dyeing, you’ll have the chance to run around on Todd Field for some open play time! Pre-Registration is required. The family rate covers immediate family members living in the same household. All participants middle school age and younger must attend with an adult. All dye supplies will be provided. To be on Todd Field, you must be wearing athletic shoes. Feel free to bring a ball or frisbee to throw around on Todd Field. No food or drinks are allowed on Todd Field. Hastings Sharks Special Olympics Soccer PRACTICES: We will practice on the following Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings at the Wallin Park Soccer Field at 1655 Northridge Drive, Hastings. The field is located west of the permanent hockey rink. Street parking is available on Northridge Drive between Wyndham Hill Drive and Stonegate Road. Saturday Afternoons from 3:30-5:00 PM: September 12, 19 and 26 & October 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31Wednesday Evenings from 6:30-dusk: September 16, 23 & 30 and October 7 PRACTICE DETAILS: Special Olympics is offering soccer as a recreational sport in 2026. In addition to training for soccer games, Sharks athletes will work on soccer skills during practice. This year we will have several games on Saturday, both at our fields in Hastings and away, likely in Burnsville, Prior Lake/Savage and Stillwater. Unified athletes are welcome to join our soccer team. In the event of bad weather, please call Coach Ray Kennedy to see if practice has been cancelled or delayed. If you are unable to attend a practice or game, please contact Coach Ray or Coach Sophie Gartzke at Please arrive 15 minutes before practice starts. Be ready to participate in warm up exercises at the practice start times! Use the restroom before you arrive at practice. Restrooms may not be available at the field. Ifrestrooms are available, athletes must be escorted by an adult. Alcohol, tobacco and/or vaping products are not allowed by athletes or spectators during practices or games. Games dates: To Be Determined.A STATE COMPETITION IS NOT SCHEDULED FOR 2026 A parent, friend or staff must accompany the athlete to the Invitational Tournament/Skills Competition and make sure that they are ready to play. Please arrive early for the tournament. Soccer is a team sport, and it is important that all athletes practicing with the team attend the tournament. Athletes will never be turned away if they are unable to pay the participation fee. You will have the option to request a scholarship for your fee when you register online with Hastings Community Education. Your request is confidential.
