Summer Puzzle Palooza!Adult EnrichmentGather your puzzle fanatic friends or family members! Join us Saturday, August 1st for a puzzle tournament. Doors will open at 8:45am for coffee and treats. Teams of four will race to put together a 500 piece puzzle. All teams will put together the same puzzle which will be revealed that morning when the clock starts at 9:15am. The team that finishes first or has the most done when the timer ends wins bragging rights! We will provide the puzzle, coffee and a sweet treat. Your team gets to keep their puzzle! This event is open to teams of all ages. Register under one person’s name and then the person registering will answer a question of who the other three people are on the team. The team with the best theme will win a special prize! We will host a community puzzle exchange during this time. Spectators and tournament participants are welcome to bring a puzzle or two if you want to trade with others.Summer 2026 -
T-Ball Tykes with DASH Sports (Ages 2.5-5)Recreation / YouthLooking for a fun introduction to baseball? DASH Sports T-Ball Tykes camp introduces players to key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning. The final day of classes is ‘Game Day’ and athletes will showcase their skills in a game environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a baseball glove. Baseballs and bats are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group. Plan to meet on Field 1 behind the middle school. If there is inclement weather, camp will be moved into the Pinecrest gym.Summer 2026 -

TENNIS Grades 2-3Tennis / RecreationGRADES 2-3: Basic fundamentals will be introduced and reviewed. Students will be divided within the class by experience level (beginners and advanced beginners). Foam and low-pressure balls will be used to develop rally skills and match play. Register for the grade you are entering in the Fall. Please wear tennis shoes, bring a racquet and a water bottle, and donate a new can of tennis balls (one new can per series) to help us keep our fees low for lessons. Balls will stay with the Tennis Program. On RAIN DAYS, lessons will be canceled and students can make-up missed time during a different lesson/session held throughout the Summer. TGA Parent & Child Pickleball: Learn & Play (Age 6 - 12)Recreation / YouthLearn pickleball together in this fun parent-and-child program designed for beginners. Each class includes simple instruction, partner drills, and guided gameplay so families can build skills and actually play together by the end of the session. No prior experience is needed and paddles are available to borrow. One adult participates on the court with the child for the entire class. Athletes will learn several Olympic-style events such as the 50m and 100m Dash, 4X1 Relay, Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus, and more! Each athlete will have their recorded times and throws from each day to keep track of their improvement throughout the program. Ed Games (Ultimate Games) camp provides participants with a fun experience learning and playing your favorite physical education games! This introductory class explains the science behind Brainspotting in clear, accessible language and teaches a simple self-Brainspotting technique you can use at home. Participants will learn how to find their own “brainspots”, settle their nervous system, and support emotional regulation. Video Production for YouTube (Entering grades 2-6)Youth EnrichmentLearn how to create YouTube content! Shoot videos, edit sound, and create an online presence. In the first half of camp, learn the tricks pro filmmakers use for better shots, lighting, and sound, plus learn to use our film editing software. In the second half, students will work on a group unboxing or individual product review video with transitions, special effects, and soundtrack. Please bring a USB drive (at least 8 GB).Summer 2026 -
Volleyball Camp with DASH Sports (Ages 6-12)Recreation / YouthDASH Sports Summer Volleyball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key volleyball skills such as passing, serving, and hitting will be taught and practiced throughout the week. Fun, volleyball skill specific games are also incorporated, giving players game type experience, and a better understanding of the game! The final day of camp ends with scrimmages and games for players to showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle and nut free snack (knee pads optional). Write Your First Novel (in 90 Days!)Adult EnrichmentThis intensive course provides a schedule of crafting a novel from start to finish, which you can finish in as little as 90 days! This class will also help you stay motivated throughout the journey. You will learn how to: select your novel genre and develop a compelling premise, create multidimensional characters and immersive settings, craft a detailed plot outline, manage your time to keep your writing flow consistent, combat common roadblocks including writer’s block, master the art of self-editing: refining your plot, and fixing pacing, dialogue, and characterization problems. Receive constructive criticism from beta readers and explore publishing options. By the end of this class, you will know how to complete your novel and have the knowledge and confidence to move forward with the publishing process. The instructor LeeAnne Krusemark is a former journalist, current author and editor, and a nationwide Professor of Publishing at higher learning institutions, including Harvard Adult Education.
