Babysitter's Training with Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED-BL r.25

The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training with Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED-BL course prepares youth ages 11-16 to care for children and infants safely and confidently. It includes hands-on activities, videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children safety and emergency response. The First Aid/CPR/AED Blended Learning course includes an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-person training and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours to complete the online portion. We want to prepare participants well for emergencies but CPR can be physically demanding and participants should ideally weigh at least 85-90 pounds to participate in this portion of the course. Upon successful completion of both the online and in person portions of the course a valid 10-year Babysitter's Training digital certification and a valid 2-year digital certificate for Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.
